Naples, 15th century. A tavern by the sea, where the beauty Lucia works. By a twist of fate, two gentlemen arrive here – the Poet and the Executioner, both of whom fall in love with the hostess. From simple arguments, their rivalry escalates into a furious battle for her affection. Through the use of stage design, costumes, movement, lighting, and sound, the play gains a vivid and intriguing atmosphere. The finale?… Intrigue!

An important note is that the play “Poet and Hangman” was written by the local playwright Bronislav Hryshchuk. In 2016, during the XVIII International Monodrama Festival “Echoes,” it was performed in the open air on the central street of Khmelnytskyi – Proskurivska Street – right under the sky.
