The Diary of a Pervert

The play “Diary of a Deviant” depicts the conflict between the fragmented parts of the protagonist’s “self,” caused by deep inner emotions of love and rejection, passion and obsession. The performance presents its own interpretation of Humbert’s love story with the young nymphet, delving into the protagonist’s inner world from his initial amorous experiences to the tragic climax.

In 2012, the play “Diary of a Deviant” became a laureate of the International Monodrama Festival “Echoes” in Kyiv. In 2013, it was presented on the chamber stage of the Ivan Franko Kyiv Academic Drama Theater named after Serhiy Danchenko.
